Service Description

VEX IQ Competition team training involves a combination of hands-on robotics building and programming, strategic game play, and teamwork development. Students learn to design, build, and code robots to compete in a game-based challenge, fostering STEM skills, problem-solving, and collaboration. Training also includes learning the competition rules, practicing driving and autonomous programming, and developing strategies for maximizing points.


Cancellation Policy

Maven TechLab Rep Team Policy Joining the Maven TechLab Rep Team means committing to excellence, teamwork, and representing our school with pride. These policies ensure a positive, competitive environment for all members. Commitment: Students are expected to train consistently, support teammates, and uphold sportsmanship. By joining, each member pledges to give their best effort in practices and competitions. Payment & Refunds: Due to limited spots and preparation costs, all payments are non-refundable. If a student cannot attend, parents may transfer the spot to another eligible student before the first class, with approval. Attendance & Training: Every session builds toward competition readiness. Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled. Students must arrive on time; late arrivals beyond 15 minutes may not be admitted. Regular attendance is required for competition eligibility. Pick-Up & Late Policy: Parents must pick up promptly at session end. A late fee of $10 per 15 minutes will be charged after a 15-minute grace period. After 30 minutes, emergency contacts will be called, and further action may be taken to ensure safety. Conduct: Team members must respect coaches, peers, and competitors at all times. Positive attitudes, collaboration, and school pride are essential values. Competitive Readiness: Participation in competitions depends on preparation, attendance, and coach evaluation. Our goal is to compete with excellence, innovation, and integrity. Photo & Marketing: Students may be photographed or recorded during sessions and events. Images may be used in promotions unless parents opt out in writing before the first class.
